Cole is the founder and CEO of Authentic, an insurtech startup bringing the Fortune 500 concept of “captive insurance” to benefit SMBs around the world. The company is getting ready to announce its Series A, after signing ten partners (including Mindbody, The Cut, PushPress and Restaurant 365) that touch 1M+ small businesses. Cole believes small businesses are vital to our economy, but that traditional financial services models inherently work against them. He's made it his mission to change that, and can dive into what it takes to take on an industry that hasn't changed in over 50 years.
